Thanks  Hubberranz for prompt reply... re-installed everything and made a copy this time. Downloaded the up-dates again. Installed them exactly as directed..All went well till I tried .4. Same problem , Loads up to 100% the crashed back to the selector.... AGGGGHHH.
Ps also downloaded the the skin pack...Can't figure out where that is put when extracted??

Here is a friendly tip  ;)

Install this LOG-ERROR Mod into your game...

1- https://www.sas1946.com/main/index.php/topic,13457.0.html

2 - https://www.sas1946.com/main/index.php/topic,19308.0.html

Read on how it works. Its very simple.

The log file will show up as a long list.
Look at the bottom and read the last lines.
It should say what is being "loaded" and what file has an error being loaded .

That error loading file is the file (or folder) you have the problem and needs to be fixed !

I have a question somewhat pertinent to this issue. I've lost track as to how far I've patched DBW 1916. Is there a way to tell? And what constitutes the latest version?

PS: Looking at it, I think I've patched through 3.2, but not further. Do I merely add 3.4?

Guys, do we have an SPAD XIII? It was not there last time I checked, and should be doable trough frankenplane.

I dont think that anyone is working on ww1 planes right now, but the main differences between SPAD.VII and XIII are listed here :

To my sadness and I believe many others, the development of DBW1916, suffered a blow with the absence of Mr. Kant. I pray that soon other developers to join the project and get back to having the joy of before, and to see the growth of the simulator again.

 :( :( :( :(

Cheers

It goes through phases. I don't think it will be inactive for long.

You're right Alfie. Who knows who, or what might come out of the woodwork?

Yeah, that's what I thought; or part of the Ypres fortifications perhaps?

No, it Przemysl. Austria-Hungary. Also it is suitable for Brest, Warsaw and other period 1914-1918.

Przemysl, some historians here in Austria name it
Austrian-Hungarys "Stalingrad".
