Hello Istvan, is the DBW 1916 game now abandoned by you or is there a intention to eventually add those missing types to the install?

With your work on the excellent VP ModPack has your priority now changed to that as it seems oh so long since a DBW 1916 update and
I am surprised no one has enquired.

Personally a 4.12 user myself but I am sure there are those out there who will like to hold on to DBW 1916 and see it still supported.

That would be me.....     When i'm not in 4.12, i'm in something slow and rickety from DBW_1916. That said, i have no problem adding new items one by one if no new pack is created.

My REAL wish is that there was an FM guy around to tackle all of the rocket powered fighters we have there now, such as the Nieuport 11, and Siemens-Schuckert. Or the unstable tendencies of the Snipe and Fokker VIII.

I would be glad to step forward and learn the necessary parts myself; I even kind of want to, but i have a lot of RL on my plate these days and time is precious. For this i hold all of our modders in the highest respect. Your time and energy are true gifts.

I stopped the pack because I had to, since Gio and Stalker left the site. I'm still using this pack but I deleted DBW.
I can do an update in 1-2 weeks, there's some new mods to add.

but have gone on vacation for a little while. They deserve a rest.

Of course there are many new WW1 airplanes. Just look around !
But if you can install one airplane mod in this game, then you are also able to install more airplanes
into the DBW-1916.
It is very easy to do it. Stop being lazy and do it.

This could be a standalone pack by adding some of the DBW files and such, but I dont think that the number of people using the 4.10 version of the game nowdays would warrant it. Transfering it to 4.12 would make more sense, but that's beyond my expertise.

Is there still development for DBW 1916? I hope so.

I am currently running DBW 1.71 and DBW 1916 1.6. I see at the beginning of this topic there is a DBW 1916 v4 update. Does the v4 update include all the updates till 1.6 or is it a new update?

DBW 1916 v4 update is everything in one pack.

I don't plan to continue this pack for two reasons: no java coder help is available for 4.10 and I'm also busy with 'vpmodpack' for ww2.
