Thanks Hoss, will look into it.
The canopys from what I gather was due to early bang seats being useless that low and slow, so having the hood open facilitated easier escape in the event of ditching, however witht he TF-9J I've been unable to find any shots of one coming aboard with the hood open, plenty closed though.

Tend to shy away from the Fury myself, as you say its so easy to land so unless I'm going into combat I tend to go with the aircraft that offers the most challenge to fly/trap.

Has anyone been able to get the static versions of these great AC to work? I hve added several statics lately that have worked great, but i cant get these to show up, and the sim crashes at 70 %. I've read all kindsa stuff on that problem, but this is the first time Ive encountered it. I put the entries in the static ini and technics ini under self stationary planes per instructions (if you got this static version),and changed it around to the regular static list (WTF is the difference between self stationary and what Is listed as "stacionary" planes? yes, it's mispelled like that.

I Just wanna know if anyone has gotten them to work before I spend the time trying to correct it.

I had to eliminate all static entries to get it to activate again past 70%, but the planes themselves still work fine, even if I've not been able to land it yet. Fun to fly, and I use up all the runways. I've got some good screens of an intercept misn I made if I ever get time to post them.

OK, I just discovered what I did......I left out one of hte files i had to put into the main AC folder. I figured I had forgotten something. Never miiiiind.

NEAT planes btw, a bit hard to land, but cool planes. Very interesting control surface arrangement with teh ailerons. nice.

The only thing i would add is a load out for two AIM-9s and some bombs.

Tested in 4122+5.30+2.7 and got the planes working and showing all their loadouts options (REMEMBER taht they need the Panther cockpits which files are missing in this download) but the engines overheat alost immediately at take off and make the planes unusable....a simple update of the FM or EM inside the pack should solve the trick!

If someone atm can't manage to make their cockpit working (after adding the Pathers one) I can help him finding the needed files!

Does it happen to anyone that the cougars don't pitch? Even with full trim the climbing is veery slow. Roll and yaw seem to be normal.

I'm using the 4.12.2+modact+JW1.33.
