for Page Up/ Down you have to klick too any F-Key!

Not the FN-Key!!! It should be easier to handle this Laptop (not Notebook!)

@MilanTarik:
You have not PgUp etc keys separate from NumPad ?
Then it is a pity, the trick will not work on your comp.
(Aren't you kidding, are you ?  ;)  )

no, i think it is quite common with some laptops, that they do not have those keys separate, but only with the numpad.
another reason why i don't like laptops - that, and the ridiculous mouse story. :D

I get the same results this way (This should work on almost any laptop).
Open a map.
Open the object menu.
Select an object.
In the menu bar above the object image, left mouse click.
Now your up and down arrows should scroll through your objects as fast as you can click (depending on the speed of your computer I would guess ) one object at a time.

Yeah, that works ;) Thanks :)
my laptop is fast enough, so it depends on my finger's speed :P

Only that jumping between file groups of objects (as Bee pointed out) wont work this way. And this doesnt work in 3d view, only from above.

Another "fast tip" (already known I suppose) :

After having put an object on the map (keep it selected), you put the mouse pointer above the name of the object in the dropdown list, then use the mouse wheel to scroll up or down in the list : the selected object will change on the map as fast as your wheel goes.

... a little off subject, but...
Does anyone know how to select multiple objects, so I can move a whole formation of airplane way-points at the same time?
