Hold down the Alt key and select all the objects you want and then move them together.  You will see each one show up with the red icon when you do.  While they are selected, you can also Ctrl-C and Ctrl-V to copy and paste your selected objects anywhere you like.

Thanks Bee, I'll try that when I get a chance.  Do I need FMBpro or just standard FMB?

Hi GilB57,

thank you very much!!! I does'nt know about object-changes with the mousewheel.

Always made it with the page up/ down keys. Now I'm very faster...

Stratodog, i don't think you can move waypoints, only the objects themselves.
unfortunately, the waypoints would need to be re-done...:(

Ha! Thanks Malone, that explains why I can't get it to work.  :)

Works great on objects though.  Thanks Bee

I never knew about the Alt key selection of objects. I just tried it and have run into a problem - I can't unselect the objects. I don't have Unlocked FMB and so am using just the stock FMB. I have the Right mouse button as my Unselect.

I put down several tents, selected them all, moved them around, went to unselect and they kept flashing. I hit the Alt key, the Ctrl, the Shift and combinations thereof with no joy. I found I could put down other objects but the the tents kept flashing and would move around as a group.

Another problem with not being able to unselect is, when I place another group of objects and try to choose them separately they become grouped with the original and now I have tents and sandbags 300m apart moving around togther.

Also, the Ctrl+C and Ctrl+V didn't work either.

conf.ini of unlocked and original FMB both contain the line:

"MouseRight=popupmenu"

By using it, the popup menu shows you the offer to !Deselect ", "Deselect all", and "Cut".
Use this possibility.

Thank you bomberkiller and Uzin. The insertions in the conf.ini did the trick! I've been making missions since 2004 or so and never knew these possibilities existed. Only goes to show you're never to old to learn.

I want to take this opportunity to say thanks to Boomer, Kevin P (Still need to work through his map tutorial) and all the gents who posted here and in this thread:

https://www.sas1946.com/main/index.php/topic,10282.0.html

And here
http://ultrapack.tuttovola.org/index.php/topic,1977.0.html

I spent some hours reading (I only want to start by adding a few objects in FMB+) and finally switched from Histomod install to DBW to try out the FMB+.

Thanks to Boomer I can try myself with his map maker kit soon and even if I fail by now I appreciate the work of map modders even more. Thanks gents...as fan or hobby editor, modded maps in IL-2 are fun.
Special thanks to agracier and Bombsaway for answering noob questions!

Cheers :D :)
