As a matter of fact the FF1 included inflatable ballons inside the wings in case of need of landing at sea. In one well known incident during the SCW these ballons inflated in flight and the pilot made all his way back to base with these "additions" deployed - they were really good quality rubber.

great work, I found the G-23 Canadian production uplen? where nobody expected-beat Japan purchased for testing, so I'm trying to find something
