Ok so I rolled IL-2 back to the 4.10.1 patch then patched it up to 4.11m and then 4.11.1m. This time the QMB worked in stock but when I enabled just HSFX 6.0 I was able to get into QMB but then the mission loading go to 100% I got a CTD. Both the map and aircraft where from around the 4.09/4.10.1 patches.

EDIT: It would seem that the Scramble missions are currently the cause of the error that I've been getting. I tryed out a none mission and it worked fine, will try out the other mission types later.
Double edit:It all seems to be working ok now after going through the all of the mission types, I do however find it odd when I selected Scramble first the game would crash, but when I selected None first all the other mission types availble in QMB would work. And on a side note Scramble mission aren't scrambles where your plane is already in the air. :D

If the QMB is causing problems delete a file called 'last.quick' from Missions/Quick. This has worked in quite a few cases. I don't get the Scramble airstart. What aircraft is it, or is it all of them?

Well I deleted the last.quick file, but I'm still getting airstarts with scramble missions on all QMB maps and the airstart is for all aircraft. I'll see if I can't fix the airstart problem by editing the missions in the FMB because there might be a problem with the waypoints in the missions.

EDIT: I tryed to edit the QMB missions in FMB and saved the missions files each time and then tested each scramble mission but still the same airstart has been happening. Problem fixed/solved ;D.

The solution is: If you are having airstarts in any/all of the scramble missions goto the Full Mission Builder(FMB), click load, navigate to Missions/Quick folder and select one of the folders contained in the Quick folder.
All of the folders inside of the Quick folder relate to maps that are availible in QMB. Open the folder and select the mission file to be edited, there are for most of the maps a total of 6 scramble missions, 3 for each side.
You will need to locate waypoint 0, NOT waypoint 1. Then goto View and select Object from the drop down menu. Next drag waypoint 0 close to the Allied(Red) or Axis(Blue) airfield. Then goto type in the Waypoint menu, select Takeoff from the list, repeat as needed and save the mission (do Save As if normal saving doesn't work).
When you're done editing the missions close IL-2 and locate the .last.quick and delete it (Should be located in either the Quicks and/or Mission/Quick folder(s). Then finally launch IL-2 and enjoy you properly working scramble missions.

The Windblow bug is present in Hsfx 6.0. No idea if it was there in 5.0, but I would be very happy if it could be fixed.

What I'm talking about: If you are flying a plane with open gunner position like SBDs or IL-2s and switch positions, the wind blow sound you hear in the gunner position stays audible even when you are back in your enclosed pilot position. This sound can only be stopped by respawning. I find it extremely unnerving on longer flights.

As far as I remember the fix is already programmed by some hero and only a few kb in size.

Thank you very much.

FW-200 when selecting missiles they are both stacked on top of each other and partially hanging out of the bomb bay, when fired they go the wrong way/behind the plane.

A question, sure it’s not a bug but not sure where I should post it.

In flight, when the voices begin to speak, my engine sound cuts out for a moment.  Is there some setting I can adjust or it is just my system being taxed.  My frame rates are decent and I have no other issues in flight.

On HSFX 6.0 when you activate the Tiger flyby via Jsgme the outside view of tha plane is too small. This was a FOV bug present also on the HSFX 5.01 version and was fixed I believe in the SAS modact for HSFX 5.01 but it doesn't seems to work here, so is the russian language for som pilot ranks.
Doesn't anyone knows how to fix this problem.
