I have found some WWII pics of the island and there were a lot more buildings and tents on the east side of the island so I have more work but as soon as I get it close, I'll send it to you. :)

I'm not a modeler, but I must say that you've done an excellent job capturing the historical detail, both on Kwajalein and Roi-Namur.  Why am I interested in this???  I lived on Kwajalein 1991-1993 and I run a number of Kwaj-related websites.  I'm constantly searching the Internet for interesting things to post for my audiences and I'll definitely post THIS!  :)

Thank you Bob for your kind words. Your FB page looks great. Yes please, if you want to post pics of the map please do. I try to make the maps I work on to be a close as I can to real life but with IL2 its hard to get them perfect. Also, with populating with buildings or other objects it can slow down the FPS when flying.

I have found very few pics of the island during WWII so if you know of any I would be very greatful if you could share them with me.

Update for this version coming very soon, later today or by tomorrow. :) Same textures as the 1944 version, along with the new map_c and I will add seaplane bases and correct the runway on Watja island. :)
