Yes, the Whippet is a good candidate for a new skin for a German version, but
there is another German tank coming.

I love Mark-! with its antiditching wheels. I requested for help in Landships forum, a couple of years ago, to find out if there was any Mark-I beutepanzer, apparently there's no prove of their use by Germans. Anyway, we can suposse they got some in working condition.  :)
They used for sure some Whippets and Ft-17, so...

Since Max has been dropping a few hints here is the A7V. Skin is still at the factory fresh state. Max I expect will be adding some more camouflage and other details. Model is still to be exported so not as advanced as others.

Its looking groovy for a first prototype panzer!  8)
Mapping of the parts is also taking on a good form. I will check into it this week and
try to place them properly and make them fit better.

I am not sure what everyone would like to see this tank painted in. In the screenshot
image is the original factory Feldgrey color. All of the tanks came rolling out like this and went to
the front. Once in the front the panzer crews painted the tanks the way they wanted. No proper
color camo-scheme was given for the tank, so crews painted them very diferently from one tank
to another. Although some paint-schemes were more in "fashion" than others.
One thing is sure,
this is one Monster looking tank, no camouflage could hide it ! LOL  ;D
It was just meant to scare the hell out of anyone who saw it coming their way.

I think you should simply select a camo which doesnt take too much effort.
I would be happy with something like this: http://www.directart.co.uk/mall/images/800s/dhm1691.jpg

Max -- texture mapping is based on the last draft skin I sent you.

I added the steel panels under the front and rear. -- single sided since you cannot see rear of those -- without an inspection pit.

I had intended not modelling the shield to the cannon opening at the front (just relying on the texture) but I'm not happy with the look of that. When the cannon rotates the shield texture does not move with it. Also the shadows cast make it look wrong.
I'll probably alpha cut the opening and add a rotating shield, similar to the modelling of the cannon shields on the barbettes of the Mk1 and MkIV.

Also have the shape of the 4 little projecting horns wrong. Anyone know what those were for?

On LOD0 -- using skin512 the exhausts are modelled as objects.
On LOD1, 2, 3  -- I'm omitting the solid exhaust model and will rely on the skin64 skin32 textures to show the exhaust. LOD1/skin64 switches in at 250m.
