I am trying to add this to my DBW 1.71 but I can't get it to work.
I have added the Kursk tex folder to mapmods in the right place and the Kursk folder in mapmods but have original textures. I can't figure this out. What could I possible be doing wrong, my other mapmods are working. I really want this one because it is beautiful!!!
I have added it like this DBW/Mapmods/maps/

I don´t use DBW, but somebody wrote this...

A) DBW:
.../#DBW/MapMods/Maps/ here you go with _Tex folder and Kursk or Kursk_RRR ones
B) ULTRAPACK:
.../#UP#/MapMods/Maps/ here you go with _Tex folder and Kursk or Kursk_RRR ones
C) HSFX:
.../MODS/MapMods/Maps/ here you go with _Tex folder and Kursk or Kursk_RRR ones

Do you use name Kursk or Kursk_RRR?
Try to look your all.ini - what do you see there? Is there
Kursk           Kursk/load.ini              ?

Yes I have the tex and Kursk RRR folders in my mapmods/maps
I use Kursk RRR and have deleted other Kursk folder as in directions.
I have Kursk    Kursk/load.ini in my all.ini
Should have deleted Kursk RRR and kept Kursk folder instead?
I will try that, I would love to see this awesome map and fly above it it looks fantastic.

Hmmm, that´s it!
You have to Kursk RRR Kursk RRR/load.ini

tha same name like your folder

or second way - all names Kursk and you don´t need to rewritte names in all .miss files (QMB missinons, Dynamic campaigns, static campaigns and so one)

I have it working now with Quick Missons If I change the name to Kursk_RRR in mission folders.
Looks great!! Thanks!

As a BumpH file addict I thought it would be nice to add some BumpH files to the Kursk map.

https://www.mediafire.com/?99lo6wc2mkzdkju

Drop the extracted BumpH files in Mapmods/Maps/_Tex/East/Kursk

And some more screenies with BumpH files added...

ENJOY!!!  :)

Maybe can you do the same for the Crimera map?

Thanks Uufflakke!

These files will also work with the Prokhorovka map update
(https://www.sas1946.com/main/index.php/topic,30716.0.html):

Compans_mountain_fields_1.BumpH
Compans_mountain_fields_2.BumpH
Crimea_fields_1.BumpH
Crimea_fields_2c.BumpH
MIXX_grass.BumpH renamed to MIXX_grass_1.BumpH
MIXX_mount.BumpH

I know, but Prokhorovka does have some textures which are not part of this map.
Because of some missing BumpH files it may cause some lighter spots when flying over Prokhorovka.

But don't worry, I just finished a set of Bumph files for Prokhorovka.  ;)
