Perhaps someone knows of or is interested in a small 3d mod to remove the radio antennae on the Corsair. 
Later Corsairs, when equipped with a VHF radio in lieu of an HF radio, had the front antennae removed.
Like these guys. 



Some even had a whip antennae for the rear (just behind the cockpit) antennae and it's barely visible in most pictures

Kind of makes for a cleaner, sportier look too IMO

To tell you the truth, I have never noticed it was missing an antenna in those photos
until you said it. It is an interesting idea for a mod, but where would a guy hide the
antenna then?
That airplane had a very small luggage compartment.

I think that the antenna were removed on the F4U-2 Night Fighter mod aircraft, but I can't find the damned thing.
Who ever did the 3d models for the F4U-4B, F4U-5, F4U-5N, and AU-1 removed the front antenna on those Corsairs.
