OK here is a good way to do this. Make a copy of your #UP# folder and stash the copy away somewhere. I put the copy in my documents folder. Now you have a #UP# folder in your game. Extract all the Spain download in a new folder. Copy all four part in the new folder. Then copy and past the contents of all 4 parts one at a time in to your #UP# game folder and say yes to override the stuff in that folder. Now you should have a folder with everything you need to play Ultra Spain. When you want to go back to your regular UP.3rc4 just comment out your UP folder something like this "_+#UP# and move your stock UP folder from were you stashed, it back in the game, The only thing you will need in the JGMSE folder would be #UP#_Enable 3.0RC. Hope this helps it worked for me.

Why can't you just make your entire #UP# folder into a jsgme and call it jsgme_WWII in the jsgme window, make another one from your #UP# folder you made for Ultra_Spain and Call it SCW_1936 in your jsgme window.  Each of those files would have the #UP# folder in it.  You can disable one of them and it goes away, and then enable the other, just remove the #UP# folder that remains in your install so when you enable WWII, or SCW there are not two #UP# folders in your root folder, it should work just fine.

It does on my computer......

jsgme Folder/
                 #UP3_WWII/
#UP3#............ this will have your UP mod folder contents for your standard game that you saved to your documents folder in case you hose it up...

jsgme Folder/
                  #UP3_SCW_1936/
#UP3#...... this will contain your Ultra_Spain package and any other mods you want to add, I removed the effects package and inserted Gurners, Ecranwide, sound mod

of your choice that works...... just remember to give it time to completely load before you close it.

Cheers

Hoss

What WWHappy and AG-51 Hoss have reccomended makes much sence for this install.

This seems like a great new version of the UP+DBW mod-game. I applaude enthusiastly the makers and
creators of all of these fine airplanes and things in this package. BRAVO!! BRAVISSIMO!
VIVA ESPAÑA HOMBRE!!  8)
Esto és estupendo, muchas gracias compañeiros!

I will have to install this very soon and fly in it.
I also want to paint new skins and do new templates for those lovely airplanes. At the moment I cannot, I am
stuck in WW1 flying the Red Barons airplanes  ::) I will soon time-travel to 1937 Spain and join the revolution too.

Muchas gracias a todos!!

For me it was even easier than the JSGME. Just a clean, activated UP3 installation, with the Ultrapack enabled.

After that, it was just a matter of moving the #UP# folder into the root directory, for example: D:\Il-2 Ultraspain\

Worked perfectly.

What isn't working is the briefings. I tried deleting the "_ru" part but it's still not showing.

Anyway, the new map is wonderful :)!

Installation on DBW (Dark Blue World)
UltraSpain installation in DBW is equal to the installation of UltraSpain in UP3.
DO NOT PUT  #UP#  folder  in the  jsgmemods folder. PUT #UP# folder in the main directoryl
To play UltraSpain activate the mod #UP#_Eneable_UP3.0 with JSGME. Load the game in the IL-2 Selector, Change Settings to Ultrapack 3
To return to DBW.  Disable the mod #UP#_Eneable_UP3.0 with JSGME .Load the game in the IL-2 Selector, Change Settings to Dark Blue World

Jir, in my squad we are recording voices (real ones, one different person each actor) and editing them to soung like throw a 1940 radio. Once we finish I will love to send them to you so you could use them for your mod pack.

I've read all the posts, but may have missed something ,so may I ask if there will be ( or is) any way to make this DBW friendly? :-\

The briefings issue can be solved by editing the conf.ini

Go to Locale and set Locale=ru. It will change the il-2 language to english (in my case it did it, since my installation is in catalan).
