looks good, but i cant try it because my comp crashed and i havent been able to fix it :'(

Hi Monty.
Very nice work!! Love the details in every aspect of this wonderfull campaign.I play mainly DCG/DGen stuff but this pice of art make me speechless.

But I encounter a big problem in playing the 3-4 mission!
I get massive stutters and lags in this missions,so much that I must stop playing at this point! Do you use some vector objects/static fire objects from the C&C mod? I belive this causes the heavy stutters/lags/pauses.

Slink and I had the same troubble in the past in his "clash of eagles" campaign! Please read:

Semor, open up the mission with FMB and see if those objects are in there, if so remove them and start the campaign over again.  Simon knows I always open the campaigns up in FMB before I ever fly any of them.  You can also run the missions in the Single player mode to see if it's the same, remove the objects in the single player mission and replay it, if it improves remove it from the Campaign and restart it.

Good advice from Hoss,

I can at least confirm that none of the missions contain the C&C static fire object due to incompatability with Plutonium Effects, so it isn't the culprit.

In re-flying the mission I have no lag at any stage.  Therefore we need to get more specific:

Exactly where in the mission does your lag occur?  Bear in mind too that as you approach the target area new bandits will appear at staggered intervals, sometimes the new loading may cause a momentary flutter, but nothing unusual.

Over Arras itself there is a large artillery dual taking place, the explosions and flashes make the frontline visible from the air.  You also have about 40 aircraft meeting for huge dogfight, bombers and interceptors from all sides converge over Arras.

I enjoyed flying that dogfight again, but unfortunately could not replicate any stutters or slowdowns.  There was nothing to indicate a problem here.

Hopefully others will also report on what they found, maybe its hardware related?

WOW a work of art Simon ;D You out did yourself on this one. Love the intros and briefings. just have a hard time squeezing my big old body in that tiny pit of the 109.  :P

I did not have a lot of 109 stick time before this campaign, but I grew to love it!   Nimble, fast, reliable and able to cope with a vast range of mission requirements.  Flying through to the last mission, where you hand over a 'K' to the Allies, felt like the end of an affair!

Hi mate. Gamefront is a problem for some, mediafire is not a solution as the files are too large to host there and are not easy to break into parts.  It is my hope that they will eventually be hosted at a site, as they deserve to be.  Meanwhile, I have been able to compile a 'torrent' of these files and can send you these torrents if you can pm me with your email address.

Hey Semor,

just a thought, what is your RAM setting on the Il2 selector?  It may be too high, believe it or not a lower setting is usually better, I use 512.
