Steven Spielberg when he was just a young kid used to make home-made films with
his fathers 8mm film camera and had his friends from school play the parts in his films.
Many of his movies were about pilots and airplanes set in a WW2 story.
Its very true!    its called "Fighter Squad", later in his teens he
would direct another ww2 home-movie starring his friends called "Escape to nowhere"

Thanks.  I'll leave the Spielberg stuff to my nephew who's an up and coming actor/director.  He's just entering his teens and yet his grasp of this stuff is pretty impressive.  Only one problem.....being in Canada it's all Hollywood North stuff = much less money and production values etc ad naus, LOL.

Hey that´s cool  He will have a great teacher in you to guide him in the right direction in
the film industry. I am sure he looks up to you for inspiration and also with great admiration.
Some of the best Hollywood actors came from Canada, and that is a good thing. They are more "down to earth"
people and not such air-heads as the Hollywood crowd.
This might be just a simple film to some people, but in reality it takes alot of effort and Know-How to
create such a short film. Its not just grabbing images and putting them together. There is alot more to it behind
the scenes
