I guess, post title say it all... I guess it would be nice to have missile equiped "battleships"
for Jet Era Air-Naval missions...  8)

Early 1950s era surface to air missiles like Seacat mounted on Leander Class and later on type 21 Frigates - as used by the Royal Navy -  were pretty poor ...  :( but Sea Dart and Sea Wolf proved fairly effective in the 1980s.

I guess, since there is a jeep with missile mounted... ;D . I think, kind of AIM9B missile type aboard, would do the "job"...

try with westerns ship pack, AFAIK the clemenceau class carriers have SAM's. Not sure for non-carrier boats...
