hey guyzz, I play a lot of carrier ops.
the thing is that I have a smoke like wingtips smok only at the weels of the plain I'm flying.
why don't add that smoke when being cattepulted of the deck automatic? that would look cool.
I'ff I culd make a short film I whould only I don't know how :)

What? You mean the steam from the catapult? That is automatic, on the carriers that use steam catapults.

The ting is that I have to put my wingtip smoke on Iff i want to see anny smoke when takingoff from the carrier, iff you can make that automatick, iff it is allreddy atomatic why isn't it showing up at all?

how do you use the catapult? can you use it with any aircraft?

You need to taxi to the front of the carrier where you see the steam catapult track then push "chocks in" button and it will place you to the track, then when you push "chocks in" button again you will be launched automatically...

I think all aircraft can be launched but not all of the carriers have working catapult. (but im not sure)

Try US navy carriers...

I think he means that he is to turn on wingtip smoke in order to activate the steam visuals, so he is asking for someone to make so that it happens all the time without having to turn the wingtip smokes on.  (and also please learn to spell it was shockingly hard to read  :o)

The atmospheric/Temperature mod has a lot to do with the steam effects as well.  Using wingtip smoke is for arcade Dog fight servers, don't know why anyone would turn it on to start with.

Dafuq are you talking about? Are you using latest AI, Engines, Hotkeys & Carriers mod version (2.5 to be more precise)? If yes, than make sure that you set mission date to one after steam catapults were introduced (don't rmember exact date, it works for 1954-1956 I fly most scenarios at). You will sea steam effects from external view when launching.

Thanks A lot, I could not figure out how come the catapults worked better on my Vietnam maps. I would have a full pay load and fueled to max and still make it off the carrier with no problem. Freaking A that's awesome! Thanks again for that information!
