Static campaigns>changing player aircrafts?!?!

While building static campaigns in FMB the Mission Manager constantly changes player aircraft to plane other than intended aircraft.EXAMPLE: Suppose I want to run a campaign featuring the ME-262 as the player aircraft. The MM(...Mission Manager...) will constantly change the player aircraft to , say, a JU-88 bomber or a Bf-109G-6 for example. If I design a 20 mission campaign, I might get the Me-262 only 5 0f 20 missions.
   Fixes I've tried---change rank--I've tried the starting rank at the highest rank to the lowest rank and every rank in between--same results...or, change StartTime. The MM will still put player in an airbase spawned or in-flight spawned aircraft that is not set to spawn for several minutes even(...or, even 1 minute...). The aircraft will flounder unstarted at 500 m for example and crash to earth while I try to start the bird before it hits the ground.
   Only solution I have found to date>>>say if I want to run a campaign featuring the Yak fighter. The only way I can keep the player in a Yak every mission is to spawn ONLY Yaks on the red side and NOTHING BUT Yaks.

QUESTION: Does anyone know a way to run multiple types of aircrafts in a static campaign without the Mission Manager changing player aircrafts...thanks in advance ;)

This is an old problem with IL-2. You assign a certain aircraft & flight as being the players, but when you try the mission in a campaign you suddenly start in another one. VERY annoying.  >:(

In my experience the best way around this is to make sure that ONLY the flight you want to fly as player is given a historical unit designation. ALL the other ones should be given a generic unit designation (the ones that end "... <none>"). So for instance if you are doing a Yak campaign make sure that ONLY the Yak unit you want to fly have a historical unit designation (say "1st Guards IAP VVS"). All the other red units MUST be given the unit designation "Red Army - <none>".

Your player must be in 1/1 flight and have the highest rank iirc.

Yes, but only if you have that combination (flight 1/1 plus highest rank) will it work fully.

Thank you gentlemen for this advice. Poltava your experience and awesome static campaigns has paid off again.  And thanks vp_media. This changes everything. Look for my "LOB_Yak_Fighter_1941" to be released at an M4T near you...soon! :)
