generic Japanese battleship

I did not like the generic Japanese battleship so I made ??a slight change in her main exchanged artillery towers, if you want to let her know I'll give it to download




 ;)

I think you do not need slot IJN BB is Generic HMS Prince of Wales and I just painted over it nelíbylo so I tried to throw a gun towers just make it look like three different
We tried both DBW and in HSFX6 it works everywhere

I am afraid that I would vote for dumping the KGV as an IJN Generic BB, also as USN Generic BB. We now have authentic replacements available.

This is a nice idea. It could also double as a U.S. battleship. It looks a little like a North Carolina class ship. In fact, with these new turrets it looks very much a generic battleship for almost any of the major WW2 navies. I have put it in my game.

I can adjust the U.S. from light gray camouflage, or adjust to some by the French

In my UP2 this ship does not move and there is an error:
Hook: ShellStart1 not found

After a quick "inspection" (?) I noticed that you named the hoocks of gun1 to gun3 with the same name:
ShellStart01

After handing over the names correctly, everything works!  ;)

There are now examples of “real” IJN battleships available. Example, Nagato, Yamato, Kongo — and others, like Fuso, on the way.
Really, this old mod no longer cuts the mustard.

Got it working for 4.14.1, now I understand why my wife chose an IT job, it's fun and addictive. :P

Turns out since this mod is quite old, I had to user an older version (pre 4.12) of ship.ini entry for IJNBBGeneric, the difference is subtle, yet it makes all the difference.
Replace the exiting ship.ini IJNBBGeneric entry with this dinosaur:

Good point, she looks nothing like most of IJN BB, except for a very vague resemblance to Yamato (that is already available).
IJN preferred "biggest guns per turret" (twin) as opposed to "most guns per turret" (triple).
I personally will never use it for my game, and am using Kongo as visual model for IJNBBGeneric.
