I'm not sure in real life if ordnance was kept on folded wings.

Just to answer the question:

One of my favorite Corsair Photos of all time...

also, check the guys in the back of the photo:

and

I've seen photos of Rockets being loaded on Hellcats, on deck, wings folded too.

What is requested is possible and in some betas of 1956 I had it so wing ordnance did appear on folded wings. But I opted to remove it as most ordnance was loaded on the aircraft AFTER the wing was unfolded.

As the picture above show, indeed some aircraft COULD have ordnance loaded on the folded wing. Anyway if someone was to do it, this is an easy mod that, as crazyflak said, would only take two lines of code in the respective aircraft class.

It would be so much appreciated. It's nice to land on the CV and fold your wings without your belly tank disappearing. This is already a nice touch on the Bearcat. Thanx for taking an interest.

I'm not volunteering. Haven't had time for modding for months. Anyway there are plenty of new modders around who want to gain some experience. This would be a very straight forward project for them :)

Guys, just a quick notice that it IS doable and Gerd have done it. It can be adapt to any plane.

Here's from the F-18C

So what needed to be done is rewrite the java for any aircraft that have this feature. Thanks Gerd, very much.

Cheers,

i have noticed how many of the new mod aircraft dont have this problem

You must be jocking... surely you refer to planes that do NOT have ordnance on the folding part of the wing?

Because if this is not the case, then please point me to one such mod, I want to see how they did solve the issue of weapon hooks NOT moving along with the wings when they fold. The reason why stock planes have weapons disappear when folding wings is because other wise you have the weapons floating there while the wing has moved elsewhere.

I don't think he's kidding and stop calling him Shirley......!!!!!!!!

Move along...... nothing to see here.......

How's the Skyraider coming along?... I saw you info'd Razor in the PM............. If anyone knows he will... most of the group are in Huntsville AL at the annual AG51 Tail Hook meet.  Flying IL2, playing BF3, drinking beer and BBQ'n....

So I'm sure he will answer something when they get him dried out..... heheheheheeee

Cheers Czk...
