Request for most important missing MTO planes...
« on: August 10, 2012, 12:33:47 PM »

Sorry to bother the community as the request of new planes lies over the desires and will of our great fellows plane makers....but....in the last weeks I read a lot of post about great planes that are for me or too recent or with too little impact over main battlefront of a worldwide battles environment sim as IL2 is became in the last years!

So I came here to remind that at least 4 must have plane are still missing and none have asked for them in the recent past:

1) Beaufort (MTO and North Sea/Norway)
2) Maryland (MTO and France)
3) Baltimore (MTO)
4) Hudson/Ventura/Harpoon (MTO and PTO)

Walter you are reading my mail , if not in exactly the same order.
Any one of these aircraft would be a great benefit.
Though if I were to prioritize them the Kopfdofer way, they would go...

1) Beaufort  - used in more theatres
2) Hudson
3) Baltimore
4) Maryland

I'd fly them all and shoot them all down merrily. Well , I'd try to shoot them down. Well , I'd try to fly them all. Well , well you get the picture.

I would have to agree with Walter and Kopfdorfer on this request.  I'd love to fly and shoot at these planes.  They are somewhat ugly, but I've always liked them. ::)

Hudson is probably the most important missing plane from the list, used in almost every theatre, from North Sea to Far East, in every imaginable role even as a makeshift fighter - first RAF plane to score a kill in WW2 was indeed a Hudson...

Yeah, there are many of us that have been wanting a Hudson for a while now. I think it has also been requested. Definitely looking forward to it if/when it's completed.

Dear Malone I apologize!

I thought that such planes don't need any presentation but their information are anyway needed!

I'll update my first post!

Thanks for the slap on the ears!

All the best!

Great choice Walter, totally agree with your post.  :)  I actually requested some of these aircraft in 'Baronbutcher's illustrated requests' some time ago. Glad you made a post here.  :) Beaufort for MTO and PTO. 8)
