When sitting in the water, the plane will bob up and down and sometimes (after a minute or so) will cause the prop to bend backwards (crash).
Plane drops to the water on water scramble missions, destroying/disabling aircraft - Not sure as to why at this point.
You need to adjust the Center of Gravity - on seaplanes, you need to place it higher and back - positioning the clips and FM parameters is not enough - but there is till now no definitive rule about hopw to do it - so the old "try and error" method is the key here :))

Hi Riken

Very very cool  ;D :D

Awesome request Mark  :D

The RCAF used Avengers in the early years for maritime patrolling.

It had a slightly reworked gunner pit no turret no machine gun , glassed in rectangular sections.

This very cool aircraft could definitely be used as an added aircraft for the early RCAF Maritime Patrol.   ;D

Thanks so much   :D

What entry in the FM or classfile would that be? Even if the plane uses a FM from a stock seaplane it still does the flip.

 Thanks,

I took my Guillows TBF/TBM and stuck two sets of Rufe floats on it as a mini rc electric. I have been wanting for it to also be in IL-2 and you delivered. Great fun to be had with this. :D

I think it needs one large pontoon under the fuselage and two small wing tip pontoons -

the above pontoon configuration would not be sufficient, in my opinion,  for the huge 17,900 Lb TBM-TBF
the loaded weight of a SBD is about 9,300 Lbs - for reference

Well, that would defeat the prupose of the bombay area if one large pontoon under the fuselage and two small wing tip pontoons were to be installed. That would end up being a mockup of the Kingfisher seaplane.

As for the weight...I think that is whould be stripped down a bit more as well to lighten her up. But the SBD would be too light to use on this plane.

the floats are positioned incorrectly. They need to project beyond the nose or the floatplane risks nosing over in the water. It's about leverage with friction and centre of gravity. In fact, the floats could do with being slightly longer for directional stability in the water as much as flotation issues.
