The 12.7 mm (0.50 cal) are right. The Ki-43-III with the 20 mm was a prototype that never entered service.

I noticed there is an A6M8 in the 3DO\planes folder but the air.ini entry is missing. I tried adding this line to my air.ini:
A6M8              air.A6M8 2                            NOINFO  ja01  DESERT
but it doesn't work (60% CTD of course  ;))

I made an install of the version 1.14 of this modpack, following Walter_Solito' advices (in page 3).
I had to remove old mods B5N2 and B6N2 to avoid conflict.
All works fine.

And the Rabaul map is very well done, instead it's still a beta.

Thanks to TKM and Walter !   :)

hi all,

I updated my IL-2 to UP2.01 and I would like to activate this mod, but I don't know how can I do it without losing my other modded Aircrafts, or get a 70% CTD crash!

please help if you can!!

thanks

Hi, make sure you dont install it straight from the zip, if you do it will overwrite your air ini maps ini and some other files, unzip it to a safe place and remove the files as described on the first page of this thread. Copy and paste into your air ini and maps ini the greyed out boxes data. Download and install latest buttons.

I had my doubts for that Mod pack at the beginning when i download it yesterday (that because i scared if  my il2.exe might crash) and after a carefully manual installation i want to say a BRAVO to the mod team , the planes have several small corrections and with a good skin the Rising sun planes now looks like a real planes, Thanks!

I tried to install the 1.10 version as you said but it doesn't work for me, and the 1.14 version is only jsgme mod.
Have you got any other idea or something else?

Why you have problems install 1.10 version? Its compatible with sas buttons and its like you install a mod plane in your il2 game.I prefer the manual method because i want to see what files will be add so if i had a crashing problem,i have the back up to correct them,

Mad026, tThese versions are definitely compatible

as stated above, it is absolutely mandatory to install them manually: means, unzipping them to a  temporary folder and sorting them out.
do NOT just dump them over your game.

I also suggest you do NOT use the jsgme feature built in. it brings its own buttons for example which sure will crash your game when you have set up a game with SAS buttons already!
The jsgme version installs only proper over a "clean" HSFX or UP!
when you have own additions, like planes or buttons from here or maps, these may conflict then.

just take the MODS content to your MODS and modify your own air.ini and so on files accordingly.
