Artist to Bury an Airbus Underground

Some people call this "art".
This is as crazy as putting cows in a formaldehyde aquarium.

I couldn't agree more! and that's not art........i would be more impressed if he bent over and let someone fly it up his arse......it might sting a bit but it would certainly attract a bigger audiance and make him very famous!

This beyond ridicoulous...

I can't understand how selfish these guys are as to waste a bunch of money in such ridicoulous projects, with sooo many REAL art not being funded, or worse, with so many real NEEDS in the world being happily disregarded.

DITTO !!

Ok, as this topic inspired me to dig into the history of the 'Art of flight' I just had to include the above 'artworks' as well. LINK :D

Though I've included some quite  ... ahh ... strange projects, as my aim is to get a broad picture, I hope you've enjoyed some of the paintings, photos, sculptures ... as I did searching the web. 8)

Back in the 90s, there were a lot of news reports of Airbuses crashing into mountains. So, from a 'health and safety' viewpoint, the best thing to do at the time would be to bury them. Buried planes don't crash.
