Only if you ask nicely. :) How about a whole lot of pig farms instead. :)

Here are some update pictures for the map. Some textures may still be changed but I'm getting close to what I want.

Farrang is working on covering areas where some textures show up where they dont belong, reworking the coastlines and reworking the roadways. I'm very greatfull for his help. With his help this retexture will really help to make this great map even better.  :)
We could use someone who could help with removing trees from water areas if anyone has time.
Thank you. I hope you like it.  8)

Yes

I am helping Bombsaway with this side project

It is a Cold War map so happy to help.  :D ;)

A lot of detailing the coastlines removing blue triangles, raised coastlines etc. will benefit shipping greatly  ;D ;)

Especially for Antarctic expiditions from Argentina.

Mark, removing the trees in the water is not a problem.  :D ;)  just a lot of looking around the coastlines Will look at that also.

Almost the same as eplacing the unwanted textures.

Cheers

Kirby

side note will start cold war projects after this cold war venture with Bomsaway.

Here are a few from the antartic summer. I had to do a water start mission because the runway is not able to let a plane take off. I may need some big help with this one. In Chile there is a runway I tested and the AI start off on the runway but then jump out of the plane and run away. :) I have no idea why. Anyway, here are the pics...

All I can say is "DAAAaaaaaaammm, that looks fabulous!"  8) Beautiful looking islands.
I know the Falklands are not really that eye-pleasing for scenary such as some tropical islands, but anything
brought to the IL-2 game has a more beautiful look. I like these very much.
Excellent and very artsy work guys. *2 thumbs up*

I am sure you guys are already preparing the battle-scenario for an up-coming IL-2 war, right?  ;)
Yeah, you have also seen Melissa´s recent screenshots of some airplanes in the works.
What?  You didn´t see them, yet?
Well, we shall have to wait.
 I can´t say anything more.

Thanks max. The falklands will be "dull" if thats the right word but Argintina is proving most difficult be cause it should be "greener" but in the load.ini some textures are used for both landmasses. As I said in my first post, this is the most challenging map I have ever tried to retexture but its Farrang who is doing the hard work by reworking coastlines, roads and covering textures that show up where thay dont belong. I dont want to ask too much of him as I know he has other projects but there are runways that wont work and a lot of other areas that I'm finding that textures show up in bad places. I'm hoping some other mappers will offer to help so this map will look its best for some up coming planes. :)

The Falklands pics. Remember in the pics I have seen there is a redish brown grass there so I tried to det it as close to life as I could.
Real...

The retexture.

I hope you guys like it. :)

I like everything!
Very humble suggestion:
For reddish areas agracier's autumn Lapland tex are so cool.
What you did on the icey parts of the mountains just looks insanely beautiful!

Cheers and keep up the good work. :D

Thank you Thorston. :) The redish one is AG's. I just altered it to be redish in color. That one wasnt red to begin with but I altered it because it doesnt have the tile effect that some textures do. I'm glad you like it. :)
