Thank you Thorston. :) The redish one is AG's. I just altered it to be redish in color. That one wasnt red to begin with but I altered it because it doesnt have the tile effect that some textures do. I'm glad you like it. :)

Cheers!
I'm sure it will look great and be immersive. (Once I got my confusion about map c/f solved and done my mod I can help with airbases.)
Boy if tutorials overwhelm me I consider going back to user only lol.  :P
I'm not a good reader and this is a pure concentration exercise.
 :)

Anyway, keep up the good work.. ;)

I can remove shallows in map_c but not good at adding them yet. If there is anyway I can help please let me know. I need a break from trying to get this map to look the way I want it anyway. If I keep it up I wont have any hair left and I have a lot. :)

Hi Max,

I'm aware of Melissa's interesting happenings regarding a Harrier.   :D ;)

Just keen to know if anyone has a Mirage 1 or 111 in the works as well   ;D :D

Besides this conflict would benifit South Angola as well.

Helping out as much as I can in the fmb +

Marks retexturing has really done wonders to the map.  ;D :D

It now just needs a lot of fine tuning in fmb +

Cheers  Kirby

Cool pic, my friend!  :) Lol, I got rather not much of it, more Vin Diesel sort of. ;)

I would love to learn this myself, only atm I indeed could need a tip as to with which tuto to start best...or rather: How to be able to manipulate map c and t best.
I read the very basics last night (will need to re-read at least once) but so far an open map c file looks like a Kafka-esque puzzzle to me.
But I got the tools needed, e.g. Map_C_Toolbox_1.1.0 ...
I figured the last thing requested is a hurry, so I smoke a cig now and then decide when to start.
 ;)
Cheers

Well gentlemen, the retexture is done. :) I have finaly got the look I want. Now its up to Kirby "Farrang" to fine tune her a bit. I hope that Baco, RealDarko and the GAEV will approve of her new look. It is with respect to them that I did my best to make this map look as beautiful as possible. Here are a few pics of the Falklands/Malvinas and a little flight around Chile.

The falklands/Malvinas....

Chile...

I wil get some new pics of of the Argintia area as soon as I make a new mission so I can get the screenshots.
I hope you guys like it. :)

Wait a minute man,
I think you forgot something in that map....

Pinguins.
Lots of them.
A whole beach full of those aquatic chickens!  ;D
Also add some big fat seals laying around the beaches, just sleeping around like you see
on the National Geographic channel. Everyone loves seals.
That would interest me into making a low fly by and checking out the seals and pinguins on the
beaches.  8)  Even when there is a war going on, animals donĀ“t give a shit. They just keep doing
what they have always done, eat and sleep.

Damn   :( this game is still needing alot of cool animals to use as objects for map scenes.

BTW Bombs - Get a haircut... you hippy.  ;D
HeHeHe, Just joking dude. I used to have my hair longer than yours when I was much younger. Now I
also struggle to keep it from falling off... Getting old sucks  :P

I sent the retexture to the G-Man. Maybe you'll get your penguins. Seals, I'm not sure of. :)

Very cool, Bombs.  :)  :D
Thanks for the Tuto..very understandable. Think I have to recheck the RGB 0-128 stuff again, makes sense only not in Gimp.
But never mind, I get there and if not I fly a round in ,y F-16 to blast it off.
Cheers, look forward to your map. ;)
Congrats to farang65 as well.. :)

Thorsten
