This is a good question - though the Bulldog was indeed reputed to eb very nimble and succeeded to score a number of victories in the WInter war, but it worths checking further. FM for these planes are rather problematic as we have mainly info about the engines and not so much about the plane itself. If for ww1 and the 20s this was the only important thing conditionnng teh FM, in the 30s, they began to experiment with aerodynamism and the planes were no longer, in all cases, "engines with wings" (though some were still only that)

Downloaded and installed no problem, thank you very much for the update Dreamk, superb. 8)

I've removed the previous thread so there is no confusion as to which version should be used, hope you don't mind. ;)

Just a small critique from someone who has a particular interest in the Finnish Air Force, the insignia on certain areas of the skins are facing the wrong way. ;)

Wishing you all the very best, Pete. ;D

Hello!

I noticed that none of the previous Bulldog 3D fixes are included in this new version. Thus, I attached updated version of my fix pack before there are too many bug reports.

It includes these fixes:
- Direction and shape of damaged CF fixed.
- Damaged ailerons are now Bulldog ones.
- Damaged Bulldog IV nose is now Bulldog IV nose instead of Bulldog II nose.
- Wheels now rotate to correct direction.
- Prop 3D is centered better and flipped around so that it matches pictures and engine turning direction.
- Pilot is centered in cockpit.
- Ailerons are now attached to upper wingtips so that they won't float in air anymore when upper wingtips are lost.

Just a little observation:

The second line in plane_ru.properties should be: "Bulldog_IV     Bulldog IV, 1936" not "Bulldog_IV     Bulldog II, 1936"

dsawan, Have you installed the new bomb packs? freezing when maps are loading means that Il2 looks for something that it does not find

Were those nice Bulldog IV skins for Finland ever released? Or did I miss them?
