Hello guys. Can someone please, send me those FM for 4.09? Currently i cant download them from the link.

And the version that Epervier made has only the Sb.1a, which is a fiction. I own more than few books about German Luftwaffe and their late war planes, and in two of them which was flown were also prototypes and first versions of the Me.262 C1, C2 and C3a Heimatschutzer 1 and 3. In two of the books- which are sort of old (more than 15 years and second around thirty+ years old) are even the black and white photos from tests of Heimatschutzer C1a,C2 and C3 by take-off or by runnibng on the airfield. Also meant are prototypes and mockups for  (Hochgeschwindigkeit) HG1, HG2, HG3 versions.

I can scan them from that books if anyone want a proof. So, the Sb.1 a looks more interresting, but it was no real improvement of Me.262 - just project with rearranged position of pilot cabin a nd slightly modified first half of fuselage.
If someone want to make a real beast, then make mod plane of planned masive upgrade/ recreation of original Me.262, then make HG3 which was planned not only as fighter/interceptor, but the whole plane should be just one version meant as multirole fighter/fast bomber. It was equipped with larger, broader and longer wings and great amount of changes that changed Me.262 into real beast same as more place for better electronics, radars, aroung up to 2500kg of unguided, guided A-A, A-G rockets or bombs or other armament.

Hi all.

I have enjoyed these planes, they are cool and are fun to fly. However, there is a small bug. The rocket engines do not produce thrust. I was not sure why I had trouble with scramble missions, so i checked it out. Alone, the rockets do not push the aircraft. I can even fire the cannons and it will move backwards. I had the same problem with the J8M/Ki-202s, solved by uninstalling.

Running Modact 5.3,Jetwar, AI flyables, Me262 Ultimate Pack, Twisters Me-262 New Loadouts/Moving tailplanes mod (Currently disabled), and almost all 262 aircraft types available.

If anyone knows if this can be fixed, I would be grateful. Otherwise, they do run, albeit a bit slower than the A-1a, and I will live.

You have to download the Me-262 ultimate pack v2.1, because if you don't have a DBW installation you're missing the files needed for the cockpit of the Sb.1a.

You would think the Me-262C1-3 flying as AI with a full load would follow a RATO type takeoff with its booster.

I'm not seeing that.

Long flat takeoff rolls and minimal altitude gain for a long time while the booster is running full bore.. Any hills or forests in the flight path and KABOOM: It's dead meat.

Personally I don't know if a solution exists or has been discussed.
