Your planes looks great on the arming screen !!

Unfortunately I can`t fly them

It behaves like I would not have a cockpit !!!

Do I need an other mod installed to make them fly ??   I did not read anything on first page.

Perhaps someody can lead me the way please ?

PS:  I can fly these planes in my heavy modded DBW  but not in my vanylla test-version of DBW.

I can use them fine on my barely modded DBW 1.71 (added 1 ship and a few planes). I didn't need anything else to make them run. You might've stuffed up the file location or got a corrupted download. And do all the planes in the pack not work? Or just a few of them?

No the Cockpit is not there for every plane of this pack.

Doc I just installed and they all work, all have cockpits and Arms. DBW Full Monty...

Could someone please help me with how to install the bomb packs? I have installed into Il2 root, but they do not show up as selectable when I load the aircraft. Thanks in advance.

The bombpacks shouldn't be installed in the Il-2 root, but in the same directory in which you installed the plane files. Namely in

....IL-2 Sturmovik 1946/#DBW/

just unzip in the above directory.

i want to use the seaplane variation to fill the gap in a personal campaign for an early small floatplane. the l-5 doesn't really fit the bill for what i need and
the a6mN certainly doesnt...

so if i take these airplanes(i already downloaded them for my modact game so ill just transfer them over.....)

if i take the folder and drop it into my #DBW folder, but i only want to activate the seaplane variant, can i put only the seaplane parts in the .ini/plane.ru/weapon.ru?? will that work? or should i place them all and simply // out the rest or whichever i dont need from the air.ini??

i just dont want to clutter my new DBW install with aircraft i'll never or rarely fly.

You only need to add the lines for the air.ini ... the other 2 are not really necessary.

But aside from that, if you add the line for the seaplane version to your air.ini, and nothing else, only the seaplane will appear in your game. But looking at the folder structure, you will still have to ad everything in the folder to your #DBW folder anyway. There are apparently no separate folders for all the different planes, many probably use the same parts.

So, you will have a less cluttered looking air.ini, but your #DBW folder will still be just as large ... but it should work with only one line added. Try it out ...

This fix corrects the ground pitch of the seaplane when you use stationary.
