Some fixes
« Reply #38 on: April 09, 2013, 05:54:31 AM »

I attached a pack with some fixes:
- Center of plane 3D model moved to better position.
- Pegasus prop 3D flipped to get correct direction for prop blades.
- Left and right outer wings swapped to correct sides to fix buggy damage states with middle sections missing or ailerons floating in air.
- Missing Separable lines added to hier.him to get more parts flying off in explosion.
- Some FM tuning for more realistic performance and engine RPM.

I concentrated on fixing the Pegasus version, so the Hispano version still has prop rotating in wrong direction. FM's may not be completely realistic because of incomplete reference information for Pegasus version and no fine-tuning for Hispano version.

I hope you like these fixes.

and were is cockpit?   >:(:'(
Another Haken disease victim I see - well, the treatment for the swastika allergy of Fokkers cockpits is always the same:
in the directory 3DO/Cockpit/FokkerG1/ make a copy of the material file LABELS3.mat on and rename this copy LABELS3_HAKEN.mat. Leave both files in the folder
 ;)

I have this problem, did rename the mat file, and no go... still no cockpit (but works as AI).

What happens ?

What a real joy is to fly this plane!! birdman, are you sure it was that good? a sturdy, fully aerobatic and trouble-free plane, very agile for its size, I enjoyed it.

Hi, i'm sorry to get back to you with another issue with this plane; even after the update I still have these large holes in the top wing as reported earlier:

Experimenting with recon and bombing with the Fokker C.X (P), and wondering whether others experienced these:

1) Visual artifacts around the nose from the cockpit (no artifact when zoomed in through the telescope view)

2) Engine overheating - engine would overheat, seize up and becomes inoperable suddenly - even when just starting a quick mission, or when going into a shallow dive.  Easing on the throttle helps sometimes but overheating would still occur frequently.

Nice craft to fly though to take in the scenery in winter maps...

Cheers,

Regarding overheating I have the same problem. But my solution is to reduce mixture 80% -60% and minimaze proper pitch.it. works.no problem
