Microdem-->map shading options-->coast problem
« on: September 02, 2012, 08:03:38 AM »

Hi mates  :)

Since I am making some mapping, there is one problem - I never found a solution for it:

After making the "map shading options" process for the "MAP COLOR.bmp" the coastline appears "smaller" than the one of the "MAP GREY.bmp"

Here are pic-samples what I mean - click on the pics to enlarge:

First "map grey.bmp's coastline":

Now, the "map color.bmp" before doing "map shading options":

Now, the same after doing the "map shading options" with the "cutted" or "too small coastline":

And for comparison both --> map grey and map color's layer lying on top of each other with dimmed down oppacity of one of the layers:

My question is, how to do the coastlines equal to another? Are you drawing it by hand? Or do you have a trick or a special way to give the reflectance other data?

Need your help mates.

Best regards
