I've tried posting this message in the CUP discussion thread but I think this might be a better place? I've installed CUP and on the Westfront map, the airfields have incomplete taxiways. They're patchy like they're missing a texture. I used to use this map in HSFX and it was fine so I think there is something missing/incorrect in the CUP installation. Can anyone please help?

care to elaborate which airfields miss some textures porschefan?
I check my install and found Düsseldorf 1944 for example to seem to be incomplete;
then I checked that airfield across TFM 4.12 and newTFM modded for 4.10 and got the same looking airfield which seems to be missing something...
so would be nice to know which other airfields might have problems to trace that error down

Hi Griffon. Yes - it would help wouldn't it!?  I'm playing the Big Bird B-17 campaign and it starts at Boxted. The edges of the runways are incomplete and the taxiways are transparent/missing. I had a look in the FMB and it looks like the surrounding airfields are the same. Any suggestion would be much appreciated! Thanks in advance...

I forgot to say that I didn't have the problem in HSFX so I suspect it is a missing texture in the CUP installation.

and in 4.10 DBW/newTFM it looks that way...




you see, not that much difference in the airfield depiction, so I guess this is no problem with textures in CUP;
I think the map itself might have a problem here

Hi Griffon - yes, that's exactly right. Is there any way I can fix it in CUP? As I said, it was fine in HSFX but now CUP is where we need to be!

Actually i do not know because i am no map maker guru
maybe we could cut out the map from hsfx and try and use that one but as i do not have hsfx i cannot try that out

I extracted the 3do/airfield folder from HSFX and imported that one into CUP; e voila, we got nice looking Boxted back again
btw, other airfields look much better now too....

Hello GilB! thanks for clarifying that issue with Dusseldorf! so now your splendid maps look like they should, even in CUP, after adding my linked fix
