Any chance of modifying the existing Do-17 to Yugoslav version?

The Yugoslav Do17K had in fact 3 different versions with different noses

+1, good request!

These could then be used as a basis for other early Do-17 versions (like M or P).

The Yugoslav Do17K had in fact 3 different versions with different noses

Shape of the nose is pretty much the same, only armament and number of glass panels varied...
Main difference between 1, 2 and 3 series was length of the rear engine nacelles (the ones on the -3 were tapered somewhat beyond trailing edge...) and the top turret
Another thing to notice is the assymetric windshield on the later machines.

short nacelle + short, open top turret:

long rear nacelle + longer, fully closed top turret:

The wing difference (canvas covered on earlier series) can be simulated via skinning...

There was a series of articles on the D017K in Avions revue with plans and such - but if I remember well I have got only one of these articles - must check.

One of the most needed and missing planes. Great for Yugoslavia, Independent state of Croatia and Bulgaria. I think that it could be easy to repair the original Do-17 cocpit and replace it with the new one. I hope, that we see this beaty one day. :)

I believe this one has already been asked before a few weeks back.

the earlier request might not have been for this specific variant, but for the sake of sanity, i am soon going to merge all the Dornier requests into one.
if we have to deal with separate thread for every single variant and sub-variant, i will soon lose my marbles.
let's try and keep things as ordered as we can, please, people.
make sure you check for similar requests first, before starting unnecessary new threads.
i ask this not just for my personal sanity, but also to make browsing the forum easier for all members. thanks  :)
