That looks terrific Tom and is about as close as you can possibly get to representing the real area, well done my friend, it'll be a pleasure to fly it ;)

Thank you a lot my friend!
Keep in mind, the original tiles, the map and tex are all by agracier, I only tuned them a bit and added some reallife geographical implications on two areas. ;)
IMHO the result made the map even more fun to fly over at afternoon and morning.
Yet the original is outstanding. Catches the real atmosphere very, very close.

I made a fix for the modern airbase.

It's here. REPLACE INTO the map's main folder MapMods\maps\ag_Djibouti:
https://www.mediafire.com/?pt30hhtzxu67b8n
Screens:

(added some trees...while incorporating this base from the PS/Dixiecapt South Vietnam map, I had made 2 minor mistakes, so the olive trees cover that and look cute.  :P Also deleted some non-fitting houses. or objects/buildings. Just finetune.. :D )

------------------------------------------------
Plus decided to revert the entire base to its reallife location:
It's here. REPLACE INTO the map's folder if you prefer that, also in MapMods\maps\ag_Djibouti:
www.mediafire.com/?jeglzla363k9crt

Screens for 2nd base variant (closer to sea) ..this one contains a map h.tga change, so backup the old one in case you like to revert.

-----------------
Rest all in page 1 in the download links.

-----------------

Quicks..
https://www.mediafire.com/?iyodhuxeqt3o8ql

The "--" marked ones are the Scramble files for the old airbase loaction.

Oh, you are welcome Costas, an old mod based on a great map by "the man" agracier.. :)
Beware of 4.09m potential airbase takeoff conflicts there, my initial self created Quicks did not work on the Scrambles I created-in 4.09m, for some reason the base appeared a tad more to the west in 4.09m. :P :o

Cheers
