since you asked, i made a pack of shiny skins for all saber models
here is what is in this pack:

this is based off of US_GRANT's great template, with a couple of changes.
i messed with the layers and did some mixing and matching of orders of layers
i then opened the skins in irfanview, and cranked the contrast up like crazy. i lowered the brightness a bit so they don't blind you if you use gapa gamma.
they work great as default skins.

special note:
these skins are relatively blank for a reason. they are meant to be added on to! feel free to add markings to these, just remember to credit me and all of the other guys that worked on the templates that i used, that is, if you plan to share your skin.

Maybe you could expand this skin to all other sabers?

And would be nice if you could explain in more detailed way how you did that.

well, what i did was strip it of all dirt and anything that could potentially stand out once you turn the contrast up. take off rivets, and leave on rivet accents such as rivet dirt, or in this case rivet lines. do all of the above in gimp.
then, open in IrfanView, and crank the contrast up, and turn the brightness down a tiny bit. thats exactly how i did it. i might will make more tomorrow if time permits.

That way, in the game, they could be used for other countries and missions.

Good idea! My next priority is to update my old F-100 skin, but I will make some without roundels after that. I may not have enough time this week, but next weekend I'm totally free and I will work on them then
