Land at Airfield Command
« on: October 01, 2012, 04:16:17 PM »

I've often thought that a very useful command to a squadron would be to 'land at the nearest (friendly) airfield' ... I don't now if it is possible to add to the commands list, but it does seem to be useful in certain kinds of situations ...

+1  Especially given the lack of smart landing sequences.  How many times have I and many others run out of fuel within sight of the field waiting the the SNAFU to sort itself out...?  At least if it's a closer airfield, we'll have more fuel to burn.

I hate seeing a perfectly fine #1, #2, and #3, B-17 land while a tattered and smoking #4 patiently waits for his turn.

why not let the smoking B-17 land at the side of the airfield, in an other game ''B-17 Flying Fortress'' the planes land cossing the runways allover the plase, POSIBLE?

Yeah multiple runway use in general would be pretty cool.
