If anyone has the spare time would it be possible to make some new FJ-3 skins? The current ones are excellent its just the fact that the selection is limited compared to its land based sibling. I found some examples of some FJ-3s from  the VF-84, VF-211, and VF-121 but right now I am having trouble posting the images.

The best part is that some of these aircraft were attached to squads that were on the Essex class carriers that have been modded already, such as the Hornet, and the Essex just to name two

Thanks crazyflak and I heard of its faults.  Engine troubles and the fact that the Navy got because they wanted a swept-wing fighter. but nevertheless I always found their high visibility paint schemes attractive. Too bad the Navy only have its CAG birds like that now.

Wow, when RDDR and I were asking skinners if they had a template for it, no one seemed to have one. Would you be willing to share yours with RDDR?

Airkidgeek: How many skins do you store? I have 16 Fury skins in my DBW/Skins and Histo/Skins FJ-3 folders.
I could upload them if you want. But afaik mine are now default or standard skin packs.

36 skins total. Most are from the standard packs, two from Harpia-Marfa, and some from Jaypack. But yes please upload them, because there seems to be some skins missing from the original packs

Being a fan of almost anything that has a tail hook, I would definitely like to see more skins for this beauty.  The current skins are wonderful, i would just like a skin or two from a squadron from then NAS Miramar  just cause i grew up around there.  Its got a soft spot in my heart

It's all Marine Corps now......................   All the Navy VFA is at NAS Lemoore Ca now.  which is where I was stationed for 11 years and have worked with Boeing since I retired 15 years ago..................

I'm kind of dissapointed there are not enough skins for the Fury, but having said that I have only the skins that were put out with the Cougar.  Now there is a plane that needs some love.   It's kind of the way the meteor is going too, no new skins at all.  I did come by a template for the Fury, but I use Paint shop and it's a PSD file, that won't convert like the other ones that I have.  I'm hoping to get RDDR over at A&A to do some VF-51 skins on it.  If I could find the Cougar template I'd like to have it too.
