Any chance I could get my hands on the template for this beauty? I've been collecting materials for historical textures for a while, and I'm itching to put her in "Balkan clothes"... :D

Why not ? I have also from my part a lot of docs for the French Dewoitines, here is what I propose as I'm very busy with Fw 190 cockpits and of course for the D.520 one; we work together on the template, I make the French and German skins, you make the Italian and Bulgarian...

What do you think about this ?

Sounds great - I've studied Italian, so I can ask the folks over at the Italian forums for historical reference. Just a question, though - is there a deadline on this? I'm neck-deep in university studies and work right now, so I can only skin late in the evening (when I'm already sleeping with one eye closed)? :)

By the way, if you have enough information about the D.520s in German flying schools, maybe I can send you a few photos for opinion - there's a great debate over here whether the camo of the Bulgarian D.520s was based off the original French colours with mottling, or German RLM repaints. :?

No it's a joke, this project dates more than one year thus no, there is no hurry.

If Johan is ok, I will send you by MP the access for the FTP, we share all our docs and stuff on it.

OK! I'll try to get some higher-quality photos, which would be very useful for the German 520s as well - as long as they remain only on the FTP server and aren't distributed. Here's a smaller version:
