right part of screen ...  in down of the picture ...

The pit you see is for the bird, yes.
It's made by another guy in the team, so I will ask him about the device you're wondering about.

Yes.
Not much done during christmas, both me and Claymore are busy in RL. All LODS are done and Claymore is working on the damage textures, so it´s coming along slowly.  ;)
