I think this game will not compete with WP, because it's just a game not intended to be a simulator. :)
If you already played World of Tanks then you already know how WW is, just substitute tanks with airplanes.
The same system of coins, experience and equipment.

I have WW beta installed in my computer one week ago and it is a very fun game, just like the WT.
There is no cockpit, only external view.
There is no takeoff and no landing, infinite ammo but bombs and rockets are finite.
There is no DM, just a energy bar, and there is no FM, just velocity and rate of turn.

But, as I already said, it's a very fun game, not intended to be a simulator. ;)

It looks like War Thunder will be something more like a simulator.
If this is confirmed, we couldn't compare both because World of Warplanes is just a fun game. :)

Yeah it is pretty unrealistic (seen worse) but it has got a Dm model, not as much as il2 but one to a certain extent and what do you think will get the most players? AAs this will be a contest of a fun easy to play game vs a harder more challenging game.

And also how come the bf109 E is below the spitfire mk1?

Also last thing what are the system requirements (please don't be high pleeeeaaasssseeeee oh gracious low spec computer god)

I was not talking about War Thunder. :D
WT, I mean World of Tanks. :P :D

Sorry, my fault, it could be WoT (World of Tanks) and WoW (World of Warplanes). ;D

Yes, World of Planes is very promising to me. :)
I think it will be a lot better than Wings of Prey. ;)

There's not one game in sight which could replace IL-2 1946 + mods.
Maybe one day CoD...What I'd like to have is IL-2 with new, photorealistic engine & 3d models, at 2012 graphics level.
