Great Map, agracier) But where I can find files from this folder - 3do/airfield/BlankFieldPlate - live.sim or other sim's?) I don't wanna install full DBW pack - I have a well-looked own collection of mods) I've read that all of BlankPlate objects are from stock IL, is it true, that I should write my static.ini correctly? Surelly. I try to install objects from UP_Boomer's .sfs pack - but they were not worked) If is it possible, may be any source, where the full of objects or 3do are ready to D/L in unpacked version)

I really have no idea where all the objects can be found. There have been so many new objects made and added before DBW came out, that it is a confusion to try to locate them. The BlankFieldPlate sounds to me to be a default object, but if not then your guess is as good as mine where to find it. And if UP_Boomer's pack doesn't help, then I know of no other collection of objects either. And chances are you'll be missing other objects as well.

Sorry that I can't help you on this. I m clueless.

If you know how to work with the actors management tools, you can always extract the objects and then with a utility remove all instances of the missing objects and then reassemble the actors - but that is really a somewhat time consuming activity ... better to make a copy of Il-2 and install DBW on it ... that way you can try out the new version and still have your old version ...

@Gromm:

try the link to the page containing the 4 AAS packs of objects that i provided in this thread (2nd link):

https://www.sas1946.com/main/index.php/topic,28928.0.html

(you must be registered at AAS -which is obviously free- and login to see the page)

don't know if it "Pleazeeee" helped "perawaspop" because he never bothered to answer... ::)

Thanks a lot guys) As a fact, that I have a lot of previously d/loaded maps, I think I have most of objects that Ectoflyer adviced) Grand merci for that  - i'll try to check) And only other question - that tread is not about object's questions - if I'll use SFS Extrator to "unpack" DBW's SFS files that I have - is it possible to find objects that I need and add it to mine?)) With lines that I should add to my static.ini)
Sorry for off-top)

I've unpacked sfs files too, mainly in search of default maps. The extractor works quite well, but the thing with sfs files is that are like an antique junk shop. Everything is seemingly packed together with little apparent order or system. You'll probably find them sooner or later if you unpack the files, but where you will end up finding several small objects is anyone's guess. If you do find them however, let us know. Just out of curiosity.

This looks great but will it work with UP3?

Hmmmm ... it was made in DBW 1.71 and I'm not certain that UP3 has all the necessary objects to be honest ... you can always try it of course, but getting all the objects that might be missing could be a small chore ... and I have no idea what the difference is between UP3 objects and those in DBW 1.71

I feel this map demands a little promotion.
Like usual, I dishonoured the historical background with my plane.
Also I changed the water colour to my usual MTO preference but with more green this time.

[WATER]
Water = water/PacificWater.tga
WaterColorATI = 0.053 0.350 0.410
WaterColorNV  = 0.053 0.360 0.420

What really stands out on this map beside population are two things..the 1st class texture placement of textures with very little repetition, on the mountanous areas it strongly reminded me of redko's siperb desert map texture placement..and the again 1st class topographical height art which agracier worked onto this map.
The subtle lines in the mountains and the non existant ugly sim specific spikes in this terrain, same BTW with Djibouti and Ifni, make DCS/Flaming Cliff's current terrain topography look pretty old.

IMHO the only way to show a map properly is with a kickload of screens, sorry for the choice of aircraft, I'm a jet guy. Since my favourite prop planes seemed not fit here either... :D

Love it. I would even more love if the map's size was a bit extended to the south (I get to the border quite fast in a jet ;D)..but since I know how much populating sucks I am satisfied. I prefer the coast-near mountains in all of these maps.
For huge flights without touching a border, agracier's Djibouti is an alternative, which btw also fits into jet scenarios..for that reason I chose it for the little tune mod for Djibouti..here I would feel it's almost a sacrilege to touch the scenario which perfectly fits into another time.

So no jet base on this one. ;)

Hi ag,  :)

I suggest for you 2 gents:

Open the map's load.ini file (Inside the map's main folder ag_marruecos)..
Change:
..
[APPENDIX]

...
  BeachLand  = water/RiverLand.tga

  Tree0 = Trees\Ifni_DesertTree.tga
...

To:

[APPENDIX]
  ....
  Tree0 = Trees\DesertTree.tga
...

Then try the desert trees from either Uufflakke's Desert and MTO trees mod (high res texture mod needed)

https://www.sas1946.com/main/index.php/topic,31216.0.html

I also store these trees in a 1024x1024 version without the high res mod needed. PM me if you want them, Mick was so friendly to resize them for me. :D  :-* (That kiss emoticon needs a manly counterpart!)

Or the trees I posted in my mod for agracier's Sidi Ifni map:

Greetings
