Maybe becasue OH-58/CH-53 is just too boring for S3?  ;D

But personally I don't think that it is too hard to bring CH-53 into same state as Huey or Cobra. All you need is just do some reading here and start your first and then, believe me, people here wont refuse to help you (at least myself wont).  :P

isn't this too ahead of us? .. we're still in ..

Don't use us and we.

Some will say: We like it.
Others may say: we dont want to have it.

So tell me: who is the right we now?

Lets stay with you and me;)

btw: I will download and fly it when its ready.  ;D

No prob.

brav6 if you don't like this simply don't download it.

Chill.

I've thought about making my own projects along with a few other experienced folks I know from college, but right now I'm having a hard time getting away from classes and if I work on it during the weekends....you know. When my semester eases down a bit I'll find myself a project and I'll get back to you on that :)

This may have been stated before, or may want to be kept a secret, but whatever  :D

My personal belief is that the modder's here are focused on completeing projects from every time period, at least one, so they can say that IL-2 1946 goes all the way up to 2006. (Maybe 2016 :D)

Now personally I don't blame them. This expands the time zone in IL-2, therefore you are able to create more missions with a new plane. (A example is the Bell X-1 versus the FA-18. Which one can you create more missions with? ;) )

While I would rather focus on 1909 up to 1956 for now, I'm not a modder, and no matter HOW MANY TIMES I USE CAPS LOCK, I cannot change their opnion.

Will I download the FA-18? Hell ya. It's a F-18 for crying out loud ;D

I grew up seeing F/A-18's fly over me, that's why I'm more into this aircraft then older generations would be and that's totally understandable. You may have some who grew up having Sopwith Camels flying over them and perhaps that's why they are in love with Golden Era aircraft. You could be totally young and into Golden Era Aircraft and totally Mature into Modern Jets. We all are different and have different taste, that said I not only respect S3's choice to work on the F/A-18 for when gets ready to finish, I'm also impressed with his work so I'm patient enough to wait until he's done with finishing prior projects.

(For God sake it's an F/A-18) :o

I'm just going to chill like brav6 suggested. ;)
