Heh heh, I feel a new version of "the Final Countdown" coming on. Maybe an alternate history universe where a few Essex Class were kept in service. F-18s served on the Midway in the 91 Gulf War.

A DCG Campaign - Hornets and Phantoms, one squadron of each - kicking the entire LOLwaffle, emils, stukas, Heinkels , schwalbe, arado and UHU.
  ??? couldn't you make it a bit easier, I mean where's the challenge in that? ;)  :D
 SAS~S3 nice work :)

2x24 planes against 30.000 109s, 5000 stukas, 10.000 190s...

what is easy about that? hardest part will be to manage fuel and ammo!

I finished a whole bunch of code work partially for the up-comming cockpit. Since according to the poll result, a lot of people seem to be interest in the cockpit features so I'll pay more times and effort on completing those for you guys. All I can say is that we currently have a switchable multiple modes, working HUD, and FLIR. Radar and HDD is currently pending.

Cockpit 3d is fully modeled for C and D version, 80% mapped. Once done is the importing and tedious code work. But we'll get there.

Thank everyone for your patience.

FLIR

How did you do that? How did you make the IR filter? Did you menage to dig that deep into graphics code? To add "IR" lightning, allowing for FLIR implementation?
