Hi S3, I found those two on the web maybe it can help you!

https://www.mediafire.com/download/mztqzzzjxmy/Squadron-Signal_-_Walk_Around_5518_-_F-18_Hornet.pdf

https://www.mediafire.com/?mvdviirwwomffb4

Otherwise I recall that this bird can fly at high alpha (like 25 or more degrees) without stalling, but I think you will be able to check this out in the NATOPS manual (2nd d/l)!

It´s true in real life. I didint remember it right. Wing of the front parts will cause enough lift at a higher speed.I mean the wing front part, those on both sides of the cab. I forgot just the right name.

The Vulcan 20mm is a gatling type action, and only rotates when it fires (sounds like a ripping noise - watch "the Final Countdown" about the Nimitz time traveling thru a wormhole; the scene where the F-14s take out the Zeros, one actually fires the gun. Makes a ripping sound, about a second's worth.

The small intakes on eihter side of the gun port (right in front of the pilot of an F-18) are to absorb the gun smoke.

Keep in mind that the load outs change, and are very versatile. I saw a shot of one a few yrs ago with 10 AIM-120s and two AIM-9Ls. it could still carry all three tanks due to the missle stations on the sides of the tank pylons.

I've seen this picture around before.

It has the 10 AIM-120s and the two Sidwinders but it doesn't have the three drop tanks and I've never seen one that has. However that doesn't mean it's impossible for it to happen.

the inner wet pylons need an adapter to fly the AMraams out. which makes the station unable to have a droptank.
3 Tanks, 10 AMraams and a pair of winders.
 kind of heavy... anyway?

what i find cool is the buddy tank.
with the short legs that the hornet has, really needed!

I think he see Super Hornet. It is impossible to put f-18 a / b / c / d model 3XDT and 10XAMRAAM at the same time.
Or we need do wild modification.

Guys,

After reading a few pdf about the plane (special thanks to steph12). I think that I should consult with you guys about the level of simulation and release date. I created a poll. Please decide what you want.

Note that it is highly unlikely that I'll have time to update the plane after release except for fixing hot bugs.

Cheers,

s3
