Guys, relax  :D. Good news is the only thing left is the cockpit. Bad news is, completing the cockpit would take a lot of time...

yes, i can only guess as to how much work is still entailed for the coding part of it, but the texturing alone will still take several weeks, to be sure. (as in, more than two weeks, lol)
but rest assured, people, it is being actively worked on, and will be ready....when it's ready :D

Or should I release it like this and just forget about the cockpit?  :D (and of course AI only)

certainly not, sir! :D
i'm quite sure the guys will be able to exercise a bit more patience, and be rewarded with a fully functional plane.
maybe if we could promise that they will have it in time for christmas, that will calm everyone back down to a mild panic, lol :D

No worries. If Eric will release this baby without cockpit, I'll do a quick mod and add and F-86 cockpit, like it always was for american jets  :P ;D

I guess in case of F-18 texturing the cockpit is nothing compared to the ammount of coding the avionics will require... F-18 has glass cockpit, there is shitload of info available to the pilot through mfds, he literally can check anything. And there is a seperate screen for everything...

Mfds have already been coded for a few screen flew, flight information, radar etc. but due to game limitation? (max number of meshes) I can only do a few important one but not all. But rest assure, those will be enough for this sim ;), and can entertain you well.
