This is your baby. Do it the way you think best. Already put a lot of sweat equity in this bird and it's paying off, she's beautiful. Please keep up the good work.

I love the fact that you take time to poll public opinion on this. But like Duffy says - this is your baby. You do what you feel is the best and take your own sweet time. She looks amazing so far! :)

but...
if meshes are used...
...
okay, the MFDs are like gauges.
and changing between MFDs is possible?
if so, is each sub menu of an MFD a separate "gauge" that gets toggled on and off?,
what toggles...?

really curious how your thinking , imagining this, how it works.

because i do not see this working at all - i think the 3 MFDs are different "gauges" or "gauge-sets" and that is that.
no manipulating MFD functions possible. mand even if...
what for, as i guess there is all the vital info available on the 3 main MFDs.

this aint FSX after all. even if, in this rare case i wished it was. ;D

i remain curious and patiently awaiting.
this gonna be a hoot.

Am up till the neck in minecraft anyway. Another Bloody awesome Game. ???

You can switch between different MFD panels AND different HUD functions  that suit your need :). How it work? I'll review it AFTER the aircraft is release. It's a bunch of code anyway, why are you interest  :P

There is a reason why DCS: A-10C has only one plane and took as much time to make as DCS: Flaming Cliffs 3 (8 planes?)

A remote controlled F/A-18 would need another shitload of coding, so I don´t think you´d want to release that! And we´d need to wait for "2 more weeks" (or years perhaps!?)

because the Hornet is a beautifully designed, kickass awesome Plane that is.
except for the small range.
But dat's what we got the intruders and Prowlers and KC-10s for and stuff.

O.o

refueling probe...?!!

dude i need to stop coming here.
i have a question every frikking day.
just do your thing, i will stay away from this topic.

why i wanna know how it works????
Hornet off a carrier = (Sex + Drugs + Pepsi Cola) x G acceleration
simple as that.

Retractable refueling probe is already implemented.  :)

i have a question every frikking day.

Good idea, LOL, because most of the things you asked for either already implemented or in the work.

It's OK, 110G, you tried, he's simply too awesome to leave any stuff behind.

OK, my turn now... I don't know if it's possible without kidnapping and interogating few TD members >:D but I just wondered about navigation system... F-18 nav systems are GPS/inertial based, which allows them to track not only beacons but also programmed waypoints - simillary to the way it worked in IL-2 prior to 4.10, except it also indicates the correct altitude and speed (allowing to fly within few metres from imaginary line connecting waypoints and arrive within seconds from ETA - yeah, modern aviation, sometimes one wonders what they need pilots for :P). So my question is - are you going to make it follow waypoints regardless wheather "realistic navigation" is set to on or off, as long as no beacon is selected or are you going to make the mode depending on difficulty setting? The first one seems most obvious to me since it allows to make use of whole potential of this system, but I don't know if game, as of 4.10, even allows the nav instruments to track the waypoints when realistic nav is on, although I think it wouldn't give vectors to intercept the course at correct speed and altitude anyway, so I guess you are going to (or knowing you, you already did) code this from scratch, ain't you?
