Where the new cockpit parts are mapped if we want to skin them properly?
Fantastic work indeed!

PS: can we have a version of the Mod without the stick in cockpit, please...for us we use barnesy's pilots?
They have a  better rendered (sorry for that but's true) KG13 stick on their hands already...

... I am afraid you are right elephant, now ALL external cockpit views are totally messed up (F2/F4, G2, G6 Early and G6 Late) because in order to respect real BF109s 3D, JC moved the cockpit just a little back...

So now for instance you get the seat straps on the lower right side of the cockpit with a few gauges where the radio switches should be, and the head protection cushion (when there is one in the skin) now sits where the 20 mm gun cover should be ...

I PMed JC about it when I noticed it a few days ago ...  ;)

I've noticed some inconsistencies in compatibility with the skins (windshield-canopy area) from the external as well...

Please consider my plea for stick removal in order to use along with barnesy's pilots... :-\

Hi Mick
Thank you for always supported.
I really appreciate it. ;D

I am sorry.
The new model is not perfect compatible with traditional skin.
Since the cockpit has been moved to the back, there are displaced.
If matching of the mapping skin when distortion occurs. very bad.
if we must be an exact match to make the new skin.

Thank you very much. JapanCat

Its showing duplicate texture with the external cockpit view. So I don't think mapping on the skin is the issue for that.
That would be the 3d model I would think.

NOT complaining, as I'm very greatful for JC's hard work and dedication. :)

Its showing duplicate texture in the external cockpit view.
... well not only duplicates, if for ex you consider the head armor protection, it is now where the 20mm gun cover should be, but there is no duplicate to be found in the new head protection armor ...

But like you I am more than happy with JapanCats work and dedication ...  :-*

WITHOUT JC's new 3D

WITH JC's new 3D

First of all I congratulate you JCat for this wonderful work.

Stupid question:
I can apply the improved F4 model 3d in the F4/Z doubling the folder F4 and renaming?

As a mater of fact it wouldn't  be historically correct as the F-4/Z model had a more beefy oil carter as in the BF-109 G... ;)
