And btw Uzin, how to edit tga skins of railstation buildings (I need Polish names for stations Pinsk, Lida, Baranowicze). I'm using GIMP, but when I've made changes and exported them to tga files, I've got file in another size (257 or 166 kB, Your files are always 193 kB). The result is that edited railstation skin is invisible in Il-2. What have I done wrong?
You must have all the three files, 193 kB, 13 kB and 4 kB.
Just change the size of corrected files in GIMP to
256x256 pixels, 64x64 pixels and 32x32 pixels, that's all.

Thanks, I'll try to make a download with my actors.static file.

Solution:
After almost two weeks of painstaking work (deleting objects in actors.static, one by one), I have found that problem is caused by RowOfTrees1 object.
I had to delete all these objects from my map, now everything is OK.

So if You will be so kind, with Your permission Uzin I'll introduce  in Autumn my historical version of Your map: Polish-Soviet border in 1930's.
Make any changes you want, it is free world of internet, isn't it ?  ;)
Perhaps you would like to use better the  revilaged, retextured version - Belarus1916, which will appear these days . Several little bugs are there repaired, thanks to immense effort of nikmaving.
See e.g. Bialystok>

Yes, I would be very much interested in new Belarus-1916 map  :)
I have no problem in flying over cities with a lot of houses and objects, and I have an old crap computer.
Thank you UZIN.

Hello Uzin,

what changes You have done in map_c file for Belorussia1916 (it is twice time larger than in Belorussia ver.2)?

And actors.static from previous version will be compatible with it ? (I'm asking because I've made big effort in modification actors.static for previous version, and now I want to use it with retextured version Belorussia1916).

I have made most of rivers much narrower, nearer to reality.

actors.static is quite different, because the cities and villages gained totally other textures and were populated again It is essentially new map, I hope it looks better than the former one. Sorry for inconvenience.

Oh yes, it looks better (and it is closer to historical reality, towns in this region were smaller than in first version, until the 50s and 60s), so I want to use Your new version (I'll make little conversion of my actors.static, and little correction of map_c in Pinsk - btw the base of the riverine navy was built here in the end of 20s).
But one more important for me question (especially for my conversion): dimensions of both maps (old  and new) are the same and towns are located in their previous locations (except differences of their sizes, of course)?

Yes, the size of the map was unchanged, the location of villages and towns is the same (perhaps there were some minute corrections), just the location of airfields in Minsk, Lida and Brest were changed according to nachprod information, the size of Baranovichi, Bialystok , Brest and Minsk were made smaller, Grodno and Kobrin were adjusted to banks of reworked rivers.
Thanks for the info on river base at Pinsk, I hope somebody will repair it .

@ ls :

Is'nt any map of Pinsk in 1916 anywhere available, pls ?
Nachprod made a variant of Balarus1916 map with all the airfield objects essentially removed,
so according to his opinion  it even better suits the 1916 year. This variant then might be improved by making Pinsk more up to that date.
And the map I released - RC3 - migh be better called Belarus1939. The names of railway stations could be polonised easily.
So we can have 1916, 1939 and 1941-44 variants.
What is your opinion ?

An earliest map about which I know is from 1925:

http://www.mapywig.org/m/WIG_maps/series/100K_300dpi/A40_B42_(XXIII-20)_PINSK_300dpi.jpg
(it is Polish military map with data from 1923).

I suppose that Nachprod is right, for example in Pinsk first grass airfield was made in 30's (not quite in Pinsk, rather in not far from it in Zabnica or Zabczyca).
Earlier, for example during polish-bolshevik war (1919-1921) there weren't any fixed, long standing airfields (although there were some planes used by both sides).
I think that idea with different historical periods variants is very good, I'm trying to create a polish-soviet border on Your map (some examples in attachment, still and slowly in progress - but I have some technical problems, for example in "polonising" names of railway stations - after edition in gimp skins are changing their sizes - not dimensions - and are invisible on map - what I've done wrong?)

@ ls :
Your variant of Pinsk is very nice, congrats. I hope you will release your version for public use.

As for polonizing the railway stations,  it is really very simple:
First of all, copy the folder of the railway station, say, Lida, and rename it to Lida_Pl.
1. in each of the station folder, open file railstation.tga in Gimp. It has the size 256x256 pixels, 192 kB.
2. create there new, transparent layer
3. create rectangular selection in the bottom layer around the name of station, copy it to transparent layer and fill the rectangle by the  colour around  that name.
4. write the new name  into that rectangle using text function of Gimp..
5. join the layers. Flatten the image.
6. save the railstation.tga file just changed.
7. downsize the image to 64 x 64 pixels, save as railstation64.tga file.
8. downsize this  image to 32 x 32 pixels, save as railstation32.tga file.
Whenever you rename the station folder, you must make also static.ini entry with that new name.

That is all.

EDIT:
Here are three polonized railway stations:
