I believe the Seafire XV and XVII used the single-stage Griffon mounting from the Spit XII?

This was shorter than the two-stage Griffon from the Spit XIV onwards, if you look at the outline pictures on the later models the rear of the last exhaust is in line with the leading edge of the wing, on the XV and XVII the last exhaust is above the wing.

But if you did not know that, then you probably used the longer nose for your Seafire XVII anyway, so it will be the correct length for this version  :D :D

No , he shortened it for the xvII which is why it looks spot on visually.

Another spitfire ?  ??? Wow man, how many versions of this airplanes are there?
It seems there are over 100+ versions of it.
Is there a rocket-powered version or
a twin-fuselage-version (like the Messerschmitt 109-Z)?  ;)
I have seen one of those before...
.... I cannot remember where ?

As I already wrote on first page of the thread:

Update for people who encounter CTD during lowering of the undercarriage https://www.mediafire.com/download.php?v6zazurud1vts7z  just drop it in Seafir_F.46 - Folder and lett overwrite

It`s only a bugfix ...

but...

.....all Information was was already there !    ;)

Cheers

Yes, the 47 has a longer nose to accomodate a two-stage griffon, as do the 45 and 46. Those marks are essentially navalized mk 21/22/24, and all have the new 4 cannon wing that was introduced with the 21. The 15 and 17 have a shorter cowling, similar to that of the spit 12, and like the 12 have a single-stage griffon. This comes from "Spitfire in action" from squadron/signal publications.

Hello docholiday.
The f.46 is great, but there is a problem with the right flaps, can you fix this?
