just remembered that "marine" is definitely a German word as in "Kriegsmarine"

haha! sad thing is i took German language studies for two years several years ago so i should have known that! i guess im slipping!

it is .max format.
I cant personally download it and give it to any modders because i am not a member of the website it is available on. getting it for free requires uploading a 3d model of your own(as an offering to the community i guess). And since i cant build 3d models, im stuck.
Anyway, if any modders are interested in picking up this project/have time to tackle it, here is a possible 3d model to use!

its pretty sad about all those 3d models just sitting there. i saw the drakken you mentioned, and many other cool and IL-2 relevant models there.

i did see the same 3d model uploaded at another sharing site but you had to pay for that one. $35 US. so i didnt even put a link up to that one.

The Very first Sonic Boom I ever heard was from a StarFighter I think I was about 5 or 6 yrs old. Scared the shit out of me.
