Looking for B-25 campaign/missions
« on: November 05, 2012, 09:13:23 AM »

Hello all,

Does anyone know of a good B-25 campaign? Static or dynamic will do. I tried searching mission4today but all I could find was a Spit campaign with one B-25 mission thrown in. Any advice is greatly appreciated.

My apologies, I'm unfamiliar with Enjoyr. Are these just additional dynamic campaigns or DGen? Will they work with DCG?

No, Enjoyer patches are for stock dgen and payed addons like Boe,Ostfornt not for DCG. I'm pretty sure it has few B-25 campaigns. I'm not a DCG user but as far as I know with DCG you can generate campaigns for any plane.

Are those payed addons included in 1946? Thanks for the info and sorry for posting this in the wrong place. I've not really played around with DCG, I'll look into that as well.

Not included, you need to buy them. But theres an EnjoyR patch for no addons setup too.
I think this is the right section for your question but maybe more people read the 'Lounge'.

@ django333

Here's two B-25 campaigns:
Flying Mitchells with the RAF
http://www.mission4today.com/index.php?name=Downloads&file=details&id=1571
Chinese-American Composite Wing
http://www.mission4today.com/index.php?name=Downloads&file=details&id=2872

These were made for older(stock) versions of the game(pre-410) but should work
O.K. if you do the following:
(1)If you are going to install these missions in a Modded game you need
to edit the missions Properties files by adding _ru to the end of the
property file name:

old file name > DAF_01.properties
new file name > DAF_01_ru.properties

This will make your mission briefings show up in a Modded game.
If you don't do this, the FMB will generate a new _ru.properties
file but it will be blank, no briefing.

(2) install the campaign

(3) open the campaign in the FMB, select and load the first mission,
select ' Save As ', select Yes to the overwright. Do this for
each mission in the campaign. Doing this will add the new data entries
to these older mission files.

I don't remember who first posted this method but it works, just takes
a little time. Maybe vpmedia knows a quicker way to do it.

Thanks so much Bwf! I'll try these as soon as I get home tonight.
